This game is perfect for: kid gamers

I really like the game play it just like the first and original. The Wii remote sounds and effect is a great add to the game but I agree with others the first game is harder back then it was more difficult and more fun but, I must still admit this a great edition to there trilogy remastering this game was a good and fun idea. I could imagine some don't agree but from my opinion and point of view it is a great pass time video game and fun for all ages and that's what the Wii stands for and so I give this game an 8.5 there something I don't like but it is till great I greatly recommended this game to beginners and hardcore gamers as well its a great sage to Nintendo

well first off if you dont like games where you are on a time limet, your wasting your time with this game the whole game is on a timer but dont get me wrong if you like a time limet then this is the game for you. Well the graphics are very colerful very smooth nothing fancey but its perfect for this type of game. I must say this is a very hard game if your looking for a more layed back game I think you should go buy pikmin 2 for the GC

but all aside I think this is a must have for the wii or GC. Its fun, hard, in depth. Great game.

This is the same game but you can move your whistle around easier and the game itself is much smoother. Just having a bunch of pikmin with you makes you feeling like you can do anything. Killing enemies is fun, and collecting ship parts is fun as well!

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

Pikmin is a classic brought back to life from the GameCube and put on the Nintendo Wii. The designers did a great job except for a few control differences. Otherwise, the game is the exact same but with better graphics. The game involves producing Pikmin and killing off the enemy bugs to retrieve Captin Olimar's Ship parts. You have 30 in-game days to do so which range from about 15 minutes per day. In the 30 days you have, you need to find all the 30 parts in the 5 different locations. Each new day you will always encounter something new. Weather it be a new pikmin, a new emeny, or new boss. This game is full of surprises with addicting gameplay that is surly worth the money. Grab this game if you like getting your moneys worth in buying video games. Because this game won't let you down.

The company that made Pikmin had a good idea to resurect this gamecube classic. What isn't fun about capturing small, innocent creatures and forcing them to kill other small, innocent creatures? Nothing. For one reason or another, the enemies have a strict diet of Pikmin. You can be the most technologically impared on the planet and play this game perfectly. The controls aren't quite as good as the original gamecube version. The only reason you may be picking this game up is if you've played Pikmin I and II before. It will feel akward becuase in the gamecube version, you have your control stick on the left side of the controller. That will be an inconvinience for left-handed players. It has a medium difficulty becuase you can force small creatures to kill large creatures, but you will probably lose a lot of them in a large-scale assault on a boss enemy. The graphics are good for IT, but not very good for other games. The animation is very good. It has a steady frame rate. The only sound you hear through the entire game is this really annoying "PWAA!!!! PWAA!!!!!" and "CHOMP! CHOMP!" If you can even hear the music over the noises you will notice that the music is just a loop. The story is that you are playing as this strange, giant-nosed astronaut named Captain Olimar. You're space-ship loses parts, and your off to bend small creatures to your will, so that you can sit back and watch the souls of your Pikmin go up to heaven. It seemed sort of convinient because it was in development a few months after Super Smash Bros. Brawl. 8/10. Not bad. Try a little harder next time.
