I've had this game for about a year now and love it. It is a great workout, I use it about 2-3 times a week as part of my fitness routine. I've tried many fitness games and this is one of the better ones. It has many different levels to choose from depending on how much of a challenge you want. In shape boxing the routines never get boring becuase you have so many to choose from, it keeps you on your toes. I like the running in this game because you have to fight off a bear as your jogging through the woods, it makes running in place much more fun. I also like the fact you can place this game double wii remote style and you don't have to worry about getting tangled up it the nunchuck cord. Overall if you like boxing this is the game for you.

Bought this after reading the reviews and I am not dissapointed at all. Played for close to 2 hours and wound up sweating like crazy. Didn't realize how much time had passed by either until my husband told me how long I'd been playing. I've read from other reviewers that your arms hurt the next day so I guess i'll find out tomorrow how out of shape my arms actually are. There were 2 things I didn't like about the game and they are as follows: 1. The "Boxing Examination" Section doesn't tell you how many calories you've burned 2. The game doesn't give you a running total of how many calories you've burned after doing various exercises Perhaps this 2nd item is incorrect as I haven't had the chance to play the "Exercise" section of the game so i don't know if something will unlock and show you then but after playing in the "Shape Boxing" section of the game I had to go back and manually add up how many calories i burned. Unfortunately because there was no way of telling how many calories burned in the Boxing Examination section I don't know if i actually wound up burning 500 or more calories in the time played. Overall I really enjoyed the game. I have many other exercise and sports games but I believe i'm going to be playing this one at least 30 minutes, if not more, a day and hopefully get the results i'm looking for before summertime!

I have only used this "game" a half a dozen times, and I am already seeing definition in my arms! This workout is amazing! At first it was hard to keep up with the beat of the music, but I kept at it. It is such a great cardio workout, and with all those punches you really feel the muscle soreness the next day that tells you you got an excellent muscle building workout as well! I would recommend this workout to anyone with a Wii who needs or wants to get into better shape. There have been a few times where I feel the controls did not respond accurately to what I was doing (ie a missed punch when I know I didn't miss it) but no game is perfect. If you want to rev your metabolism with a good cardio challenge while sculpting strong muscles at the same time, go out and get yourself this workout!!!

I really thought it would be something real easy and a little punching here and there, because its just a game, WRONG. This game can really make you feel the Burn and start to get your heart pumping in no time and thats awesome. The kids love to shadow me and try to follow along with the foot work and punches. When im tired i can switch to something else or take a break and come right back into whatever i desire, there is never a boring moment because you do what best suits you. I purchased the wii fit and when i got this one, the fit became 2nd best and i hardly get on because this game makes me feel the BURN wayyyy faster. My husband even gets on it and gets to punching away and then we battle to see who can accumulate the most points. I love this game!!!

A good all around cardio workout and you don't even feel it... until the next day. A word to the wise though, take the game trainer's advice and take it slow the first few times because it WILL sneak up on you and you WILL be sore if you do it right. The only issue I have is that you have to read the information from the trainer (if you choose the male) prior to the workout, rather than him talking to you directly. However, once you start the workout it's ok and you do have different music choices to choose from (not great but still more choices), so it's still a ton of fun. All in all a great way to get your heart pumping and take some stress away, but I'm not sure it's for young kids, as you have to be able to follow directions from the trainers.

I picked up this game last weekend, but hadn't really used it until yesterday. It is amazing how sore I am today as a result of a thorough workout. I workout on a daily basis and still this game literally worked muscles I haven't apparently been working. Although I haven't tried all the features to date, I am impressed with the variety of the exercises and how much it keeps you moving. I also like the calorie indicator as part of the exercise descriptions. The only issue I have experienced is some premature screen indication prior to be throwing a punch - this is a minor issue however. If you purchase this game be prepared for intense workout - with constant leg movement. The game keeps you moving while you throw punches throughout the exercises.

I picked this up yesterday and just got done with an hour's work of unbelievable workout. This game is worth ****** i can't believe that it was only $29.99. I'm in very good shape and i have to tell you the workout i just had kicked my butt. It's very challenging even for someone in shape and who works out all the time. It will test you in a various ways and each test has it's own difficulty. Those of you who like any type of rhythm boxing you will absolutely love this game. It takes you through a lot of different combo's while keeping you moving all the time. It's not just boxing either you will be using your whole body while doing push-ups, squats, leg raises etc. Anyone who wants to get a quality and i mean quality workout at home for free go buy this game. I have the Wii Fit and although i love doing that this is a different type of workout to add to your routine. All of you exercise freaks go buy this game today and enjoy.
