If you are having trouble synching your Kama Wireless Controller, please try this:

There is usually an automatic link between the Kama and the receiver, but if they do not link up right away, there is another method of synching. Press the blinking LED button on the receiver for 1 to 2 seconds and the LED should blink rapidly. Now press the LED on the Kama for 1 to 2 seconds. The LED on the Kama should flash rapidly for a brief moment, and then both units should glow solid. A solid glow from both LEDs indicates a link has been established.

I've had the Kama for a week and so far it has worked flawlessly. I've been using it for Call of Duty MWR, but I really want use it for games like Punch Out. It is more comfortable to me then the Nintendo nunchuck because of the grip on the back side of the controller. One gripe I do have it that the package advertises that it will work with Motion Plus. I'm sure it does, bit you have to remove the jacket to Motion Plus first. On the other hand; pair this with the Wand+ and you get wireless with Motion Plus for around $** less then Nintendo brand. I haven't found many reviews of the Wand+ to know if it is any good. Also, I ordered it standard shipping and it came within three days. It was packages well and was in perfect condition.

I bought this controller only because the wired kama was sold out and I thought that it was cool that it was wireless. I soon found out that I should have waited until the store got more of the wired kamas in stock. I connected the Wireless Kama to the Nyko Wii Wand, and with a couple of hours, my Wii Wand was saying that I needed to replace the batteries. The wireless receiver for the Kama drains the batteries of the Wii Wand very very quickly. I have not even had to replace the batteries for the Kama yet, but I have had to replace the batteries for the Wii Wand many many times. I also don't like that you have to remove the controller sleeve to attach the receiver. So unless you use rechargeable batteries, or use a charge station or something similar for your controllers, I do not recommend getting the Wireless Kama.

Spoon

Alright, so today was my birthday, and I asked for this, because I wanted to try it out. I had read the reviews, so I was a bit skeptical based on what some people said about it. Lo and behold, it works great. I played a good session of Metroid Prime (I got Metroid Prime Triology today as well) and I also played a session of Twilight Princess. The wireless nunchuck worked great! The responsiveness was excellent, responded when I needed it to, and felt great! I love that it's wireless. We just got a kitten so the kitten likes to play with the wires, so I wanted this to knock it off. This Wireless Nunchuck has proven great. Works just as good, if not better, than the Nunchuck controller that came with my Wii, and the lack of wires doesn't restrict my movements anymore. I would totally recommend buying this. It works great!

Once you play a few games without the wire, you'll have a hard time going back! I can't stand the wire on the nunchuk, so I got this. It's very ergonomic, though not as much as the original nunchuk - the Kama is slightly wider and blockier on top, which makes it somewhat less comfortable. What makes up for it is that there is a rubber grip on the back and the analog stick is much much better - it's similar in design to the Gamecube analog stick. There are more circles on the stick for a better thumb grip. The C button is wider and the Z button is more like those PS3 Real Trigger add-ons. There's a place on the Z button to rest your finger so it won't slip off. The receiver fits into the Wiimote perfectly and it's never fallen off. Syncing only has to be done the first time and then after it is automatic when you turn both parts on. Cons: You can't use this with the Wii MotionPlus unless you do some serious scary surgery on the M+. I just use the regular nunchuk with M+ games. Also, you have to use more batteries, but just get some AAA rechargeables. Too bad Nintendo designed the M+ to be incompatible with the Kama's receiver. It might have been awkward with two add-ons anyway. That issue aside, this is the best nunchuk replacement for the Wii. The build quality is great.

This was a unique idea, and the wireless nunchuck works in some games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but in other games like We Ski or Wii Sports Boxing, it's absolutely terrible. The C and Z buttons are fine, but it doesn't sense any motion what-so-ever. The first time I got it, I was really excited, but I immediately tried it on We Ski, and I couldn't make any turns. It was a complete rip-off. I don't think that there was any physical damage to my particular nunchuck, but that still is a possability. The control stick on it is a little too responsive when you push it up, and a little under responsive when you push it down. Overall, it's still fine if you're going to use it in games that don't need the motion sensing from the nunchuck, but in games that use total motion sensing capabilities of the wii remote and nunchuck, it's a definite must NOT buy.

Dabogues

After putting the Kama through the paces last night with a hour-long Metroid session, I'm returning the thing as defective to Gamestop today. Every couple of minutes (sometimes more frequently), the nun chuck somehow registers in the game as disconnected (even though the blue lights stay lit). It immediately reconnects itself, but when you're in the middle of a boss fight, those little hitches are way too annoying to put up with. I found that the shoulder buttons tend to be a little wonky, too, with my lock-on occasionally turning off while the Z button was held. If this worked as well as I'd hoped (and the reviews have been), maybe Nintendo wouldn't be quite as upset that it looks exactly like a Nintendo Nun chuck. If I were Nintendo, though, I wouldn't want a product with such flawed connectivity associated with my name, either. It's a nice effort, but FAR from perfect. I can't attest to other games (I played Mario Galaxy and it seemed to work fine, but I didn't play it as long as Metroid) but if you're planning on playing Metroid or Pinball Hall of Fame with the Kama, don't bother with it. Back to the wires I go, until Nintendo comes up with its own solution (and you know it will).

Captain Awesome

Like the headline states, I had my doubts on this product. But went ahead and bit the bullet and got it anyway. This nunchuk feels as good as the original one that comes with the Wii but without the wire to get tangled or slapped around while playing the games. Only have three games for the Wii myself, LEGO Indiana Jones, Metroid Prime 3, and Mario Kart Wii (haven't used the controller for this as I usually use the Wheel while the girlfriend uses the Classic Controller) But for Metroid and Indy it was awesome, worked as well as the wired one and saw no noticeable lag in response time either. Must get for the true wireless lover. Also read online that Nintendo is sueing Nyko for this controller claiming the design infringes on its trademarks, contending the Kama appropriates the novel shape, design, overall appearance and even the color and materials used in the Nintendo Nunchuk controller. So, in short if you are tired of waiting for Nintendo to release an official Wireless Nunchuk, pick this up quick before they are pulled from the shelves!

If you've ever been bugged with the wire between the Wiimote and Nunchuk, this is definitely for you. The Nunchuk only takes two AAA batteries that last you a good 30 hours of game play. I've been playing Mario Kart and Smash Bros with this since I got it a week or so back (I got the special edition pre-order one), and it hasn't lost the connection once during game play. It feels great, the same size as the original, but with a bit extra weight, which actually feels pretty nice. The C and Z buttons are clear, and a bit more clicky than the original ones, so they're more responsive. The analog stick is a bit stiffer than the original's which allows for more precise movement. Even the motion sensing works great. I played Raving Rabbids, and nothing weird happened with the sensing. Altogether, this is a great accessory to own for the Wii. So if you need a second nunchuk, just buy one of these. I actually prefer this to the original. You won't regret it!

This wireless nunchuck is what I’ve been waiting for. The only thing I dislike about it is that the price is a little bit higher. it use to be **** but now it's almost the same price as the wii controller, but it does come with a strap just in case it flies out of your hand or something and its great for someone whose left handed or right.

Some kid probably is going to get a bit excited into a game and throw it at the TV. They need to include a strap on this and this will be a great product.
