This game is perfect for: casual gamers

I have been a long time fan of the game series and looked forward to this game. The game started off with a very confusing beginning mainly because of the ending to brotherhood (SPOILER). Instead of explaining why you had to kill Lucy, they just go right on to the story of revelations, which is excellent. The hook blade and bombs add to the new game as well as a different location from just Italy. The hookblade is an excellent weapon, not only does it help you climb and kill enemies but it allows you to just run straight through sort of hurdling over enemies and making your get away. I thought the bomb making system was excellent. You can create different bombs for different situations. For example; you can create a smoke bomb to make a quick get away or to stun enemies as you slaughter them, or you just make a bomb of mass destruction and kill as many people as it lets you. You can also choose the bag of the bomb, theres the fuse bomb, the impact shell, sticky bag, or a sort of landmine that doesnt really work well in my opinion. The gameplay as Altair was cool, you finally play as Altair again and get a little insight about what happened to him after the events of AC1. The ending of Revelations was pretty much like the other ones, you stop the bad guys and save the day, but when you get into Altair's secret library, (SPOILERS) you cut into this cinematic cutscene experiences a memory through Ezio as Desmond and it is really confusing how it works out but it gives you a little insight into the first civilazation, which is really cool, but as you end the game Desmond wakes up from his coma and he knows how to prevent the upcoming events. Multiplayer makes a very strong appearance in the AC universe again, this time having a more in depth story tied into it. It's still the same gameplay as i would describe as "Killer hide and go seek" this time around they let you customize your character more and your own online profile picture and clan tag. There are more abilities to chose from, more maps and of course if you pre-ordered the game the Jester makes a come back and you can play as him, I myself play him. I really like the game series and have really high hopes for AC3

Assassin's Creed Revelations is not the best in the AC franchise, but it is certainly a game worth picking up. The gameplay is much improved, with bomb crafting and a new weapon called the hookblade that allows you to travel on a zipline and then assassinate a guard flying through the air. While it may have great new additions, there are still some pretty lousy parts in this game. But for anybody who has played the previous AC games and is a fan of the franchise, this game wraps up everything and is overall a great game. Don't let the negativity drag you down, I definitely suggest purchasing this game. It is much better for the PS3, so PS3 gamers, this should be in your collection already.

In a nutshell this game is the same as any other assassins creed except for online. I never was a fan but I thought I try it for $20 new. Its the same. If you like Assassins Creed I'd get it for sure but if you dont, dont get it!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

I am a big fan of Assassin's Creed, but this game has a few flaws and I'm going to tell you about the ending, not the ending, just what it's about. First off, this game is VERY short. I finished it in about two days (seven hours for me), while working on trophies. But, the storyline makes up for that. It has a lot of twists and turns, just like Assassin's Creed always has been like, and it is very action packed, and even has a few puzzles, which I may remind you that they are a lot easier than the Assassin's Creed II puzzles (they would be called Assassin Tombs on II). The game is based around Altair, the first Assassin in the AC series, and the library/vault he made right before he died. Ezio, wants to know what is in the library, but he has to find the five Masiyaf (sp) keys, which are located all across the Mediterranian. During this journey of his, there are a lot of important characters that Ezio meets, some will live, some will be brutally murdered. The end, is what really creeped me out. You know the ending to Assassin's Creed II, and it is kind of like that, except it doesn't revolve around that goddess. The end, which I sadly cannot say all of it, is just weird. When I mean that, I mean it involves ----------[MINOR SPOILER]---------- apocalyptic events. Is it worth $50? No, I'd say around $35, it's just a bit too short. Well, goodbye. Don't get me wrong Assassins Creed is a great series of games. I have played all of them, AC1 was awesome, AC2 was a vast improvement with all the upgrade capabilities, Brotherhood was a great twist because of the addition of have accomplices and the addition of multiplayer. NOW...AC Revelations, this game is very clean, but imagine all of the previous games being crammed into one with even more additions. Yes that makes the game more appealing but the negative side is that you have WAY TO MUCH to keep track of. Personally this AC was a big overload of options and aggravated me but still is a great game. Looking forward to AC3.

I got this game for 20 bucks thinking it was just going to be another assassins story but no !!!! The story is full of action and the multiplayer is good. I would spend 60 on this game but I would get it while it is 20 dollars.
